In 2008, Woolrich celebrates an amazing history of 178 years of continuous operation. Established in 1830, Woolrich is today the oldest clothing company and woolen mill in the nation. From the creation of the now famous red and black Buffalo Check, to supplying apparel to three of Admiral Byrd's Antarctic expeditions, Woolrich has continued the legacy of reliable outdoor clothing for the better part of two centuries.
